Yes, I do hope you get to The Getty Center — Richard Meier’s architecture is spectacular and I spent a good deal of time taking pics in the garden too.
Nice shot. The original Villa is real nice as well. If it is still there? I hope to visit the newer museum. I imagine the view is spectacular (on a clear day).
Bob, the Villa is very much still there with a several-year renovation. They even have an ampitheatre, as in days of old, where Greek theatre is performed. Both museums are must-visit L.A. destinations. Hope you get there! – Kaye
Thank you for visiting my foodblog. I just checked out your blog. Your photography work is fabulous. Getty is one of my most favorite museums. Disny Hall is another wonderful architecture showcase in LA which I always enjoy. I will reblog some of your posts to my other blog which is primarily about art. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Thank you, Lynn! Would love to get to see Crystal Bridges Museum some day. It was designed by Moshe Safdie, the architect who designed our public library building here in Salt Lake City. Small world.
Perhaps, it’s time for me to go there. So many travel iterinary though. Awesome photo blog. Keep it up, have a blast and goodluck on blogging.

Great shot! I like the way you captured the shadows and how the shadow start to inform a different scale of design upon the built environment. Nice!
