What a rusty old piece of metal you found. I have always liked looking at rust deposits. As long as they were not on something I wanted to preserve :-). I find it interesting to look at the patterns, and also to flake off pieces of rust.
The formations are alluring. My 16-year-old grandson has been taking photographs of rust for years. He is quite good at it. Rust’s abstract quality is often missed. Nicely done.
