  1. I really love this photo. I’m just learning to shoot macro shots and bees are one of my favorite subjects. You captured these bees in a wonderful way that does a whole lot more than merely record their presence. The shot inspires me to look for new ways to express myself when I’m looking through the viewfinder of my camera. Thanks.

    1. Michael, thank you so much for your comment. I too am fascinated with bees and find myself taking pictures of them all the time now that we’ve moved to Salt Lake City in the beehive state. And my macro obsession began a few years ago in London, taking pictures of flowers in Queen Mary’s Gardens in Regent’s Park. I’ll never get tired of trying to capture nature’s beauty in its details.

  2. I love Macro. If only I had a good Macro lens lol. As is I use my Zoom Lens to zoom into Macro shots. If works ok I guess. This pic btw is fantastic. I too love bees and am saddened that they are dying off the way they are due to us.
