Your flower photos are stunning! Do you do any enhancements to them after the photo is taken, or are they as-is?

Thank you very much! I don’t do enhancements or use filters, but there’s almost always some cropping, highlight reduction, and stray (dead) pixel removal to be done. Thanks for visiting my work.

love this flower! I just planted roses (well the gardener did) and they started to bloom – very exciting to watch the process…love when the bud just opens! (Also, I remember my dad also singing the whole month of elul, every evening, morning… just to prep for the service!) 🙂

Thanks so much, Cheri. These rose bushes were definitely not the typical “miniature rose” — I’ve never seen anything else like them. The picture was taken at dusk and I barely had enough light to capture what you see here (I never use a flash). I’m going to have to find out exactly what cultivar they are. And the next time I get a chance to visit Philadelphia in the spring I’ll have to take some pics during the day to give you more of an idea of what the whole plant looks like.

Rona, Your photos are fantastic! I love the different angles and lighting that you use. I don’t consider myself a photographer, but I do love photography. Thank you so much for stopping by Travel Oops and liking the photo of the cathedral in Kiev (my dad took that one)! Cheers, Steph.

Thank you very much, Mary. Yes, I’m currently on the east coast to visit family, but very lucky to be staying in downtown Philadelphia which wasn’t affected. (We were supposed to fly back to Salt Lake City yesterday and the hurricane extended our trip for a few more days.)
