Due to illness, I’ve been unable to take pictures for the last five years. I thought that instead of one of my old ones, I’d show you one of my husband’s, taken on an iPhone 6s. My plan is to get back out into the world as soon as possible and am using this remarkable image as motivation.

Hi Robert,
No I have not, but great idea! I’ll play around with it. Thanks for the suggestion.
ETA: Forgot to say that I’ll get Scott’s permission before doing anything.

Rona! This is a lovely photo and I think it is wonderful that you are once again sharing images, including this one that Scott took.
I hear that you will be going on a cruise! I hope you have a fantastic time and that it provides opportunities to take photos.

Thank you, Harrie. I’ve been more than ready for a while now; just waiting for the physical limitations to vanish.

Agreed, and certainly far better than anything I’ve ever taken during the last 13 years that I’ve been shooting.

Thanks, Alf!
It is perhaps no coincidence that Scott took this during the summer I couldn’t go with him to London. (He doesn’t take pictures when we’re together.) I’m reluctantly acknowledging the value of solitude.
