Great Gregories – Epping Forest

Great Gregories – Epping Forest by Scott Black ~ Dramatic stormy sky over an Epping Forest heath with beautiful snag. Epping Forest, formerly known as Waltham Forest, is located in East London, England.

Due to illness, I’ve been unable to take pictures for the last five years. I thought that instead of one of my old ones, I’d show you one of my husband’s, taken on an iPhone 6s. My plan is to get back out into the world as soon as possible and am using this remarkable image as motivation.

  2. Rona! This is a lovely photo and I think it is wonderful that you are once again sharing images, including this one that Scott took.

I hear that you will be going on a cruise! I hope you have a fantastic time and that it provides opportunities to take photos.

    Hugs, Tasha

  3. Hi Rona and Scott, Wonderful photo. I love this gnarly snag — and those “Something Wicked This Way Comes” clouds! Alf

    1. Thanks, Alf!

It is perhaps no coincidence that Scott took this during the summer I couldn’t go with him to London. (He doesn’t take pictures when we’re together.) I’m reluctantly acknowledging the value of solitude.
